Having multiple instances of the same app running on your Android phone is something everyone needs once in a while. Some apps such as Instagram have recognized that need and they support multi-account login. For others, you might need to use apps such as Parallel Space.
Parallel Space is a free app available for Android. It creates a virtual environment where you can clone apps for which you need another access and you can log in with different credentials. This avoids the problems of signing in and out each time you want to switch accounts. Apps can be opened inside Parallel Space only and they are opened with your second account.
You can add as many apps as you want but there is no option to support more than two accounts. If an app uses your mobile number to sign in, you will need a phone with dual-SIM in order to activate it. Its security options are also top-notch. You can add a pattern, password, or a fingerprint lock for the app. There is also a private browser inside the app.
The app supports ads but you can purchase a subscription or pay a lifetime fee. These prices are often at a discount where they actually look appealing. Ads often appear when you try to open the app which really slows down the process, especially if you are chatting with someone.
There is also a loading period after starting each app. This is not problematic for apps such as YouTube which you open and don't close for a while. Instant messengers, on the other hand, need to be opened quickly and Parallel Space doesn't provide that speed. There is a Speed Mode you can turn on but it shuts down Google Play services, which is a major problem. Many users have said that it also drains battery quickly.
